The SKGB have organised a workshop for Coaching the Young Developing Performer to be held at the Novotel Edinburgh. Application forms must returned to the SKGB office by Monday 17^th September.

SKGB  Child  Protection  Policy 2012

The Scottish Karate Governing Body is fully committed to safeguarding the welfare of all
children in its care. It recognises the responsibility to promote safe practice and to protect
children from harm, abuse and exploitation. For the purposes of this policy and associated
procedures a child is recognised as someone under the age of 18 years.

Staff and volunteers will work together to embrace difference and diversity and respect the
rights of children and young people.

The revised Child Protection Policy outlines Scottish Karate Governing Body commitment to protecting children.

Hamish Adam MBE

Hamish was awarded the MBE in the Queens Honours list on the 16^th June 2012

for his services to karate.  Congratulations to Hamish great news and well

deserved from all at Scottish Karate.
