Elite Athlete Support Seminar

In association with JKS Scotland - Karate Kai - and supported by the Scottish Karate Governing Body the Japan Karate Academy (previously Shitokai Scotland) present the first of two seminars by:

Squad training is open to all SKGB members aged 12 year and above. The training times are 11am to 12.30pm and 11am to 1pm for elite squad members ( elite squad explained below).

Please note that under the new selection system those that do not attend team pool training sessions cannot be included in the elite squad and in future all selections will be made from those in the elite squad. It is therefore important for anyone wishing  to be included in the elite group in the future to attened team pool training sessions regularly. It is also important to keep an up to date note of your results from major championships

SKGB Elite Squad 14/15 years and 16/17yrs and seniors from January 2011

The selections for the forthcoming European Championships will be held in Meadowbank Sports Centre. Edinburgh on Sunday 19th December, commencing 1pm.

The selections are open to the following age groups 14/15 years, 16/17 years and under 21years. Please remember to bring a note of the weight category you are trying for.

The SKGB along with CHILDREN1st  are holding a Child Protection Officers workshop on Friday 11th March 2011. There is no charge for the workshop and it is open to all association and club child protection officers. Please click on PDF document for full details.

The SKGB along with Sportscotland and Sports Coach UK have organised an Equity in Sport workshop as part of the SKGB coach development programme.The workshop will be held on Friday 3rd December 2010.
