British International Open Championships 2012 final bulletin

May I take this opportunity to welcome you to 3rd British Open and to the host City of Glasgow.
The event has grown over the past few years  and this year we welcome “Sports Data” as a sponsor of our event. This will allow ease of registration with a simple online process which is now being used at major championships throughout the world.

SKGB  Child  Protection  Policy 2012

The Scottish Karate Governing Body is fully committed to safeguarding the welfare of all
children in its care. It recognises the responsibility to promote safe practice and to protect
children from harm, abuse and exploitation. For the purposes of this policy and associated
procedures a child is recognised as someone under the age of 18 years.

Staff and volunteers will work together to embrace difference and diversity and respect the
rights of children and young people.

The revised Child Protection Policy outlines Scottish Karate Governing Body commitment to protecting children.

Hamish was awarded the MBE in the Queens Honours list on the 16th June 2012

for his services to karate.  Congratulations to Hamish great news and well

deserved from all at Scottish Karate.
