Rab McQueen attended the 8th European Regional Team Championships in Warshaw last week from the 27th - 30th May. Rab received an EKF Kata Judge "B" qualification. This is the first Scottish Kata qualification achievement for many years. Well done and congratulations to Rab. |

On behalf of the myself & the SKGB. I would whole heartedly like to thank Hamish Adam and all who helped make this years Scottish International Open yet another huge success.
A special mention should go once again to the referees, coaches, competitors, officials & medical staff not to mention all supporters (parents etc) of our athletes.The list of people to thank is once againendless. It is a pleasure to be involved.
Thanks again to everyone involved and we look forward to seeing you again in 2011.

Notification of the Scottish Karate Governing Body Limited Annual General Meeting The annual general meeting will be held on Friday 21st May at 7.30pm at: The Dakota Hotel Eurocentral, Near Motherwell Nominations are requested for the following positions. - Director / President
- Director of Sport
- Director of Refereeing
The closing date for nominations is Sunday 11th April 2010. This allows 40 clear day notification from the date of the AGM as per the SKGB Articles of Association.
